What we collect

If you subscribe to updates, we store your email address. If you submit a tip, vote on a place, or send a place policy correction, we store that content — but not your name or any identifier tied to you. No account is required to use PetPawsible, and we do not use tracking cookies or analytics that follow you across the web.

If you submit a contact enquiry via our venue contact form, we store your name (optional), email address, and message in order to respond to you.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

  • Email address — used solely to send occasional product updates. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
  • Tips, votes, and place submissions — used to keep the map accurate and useful for the community. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing reliable pet-friendly place information (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is anonymous and cannot be linked back to you.
  • Contact enquiries — used solely to respond to your message. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use your contact details for marketing without your separate consent.

Who processes your data

PetPawsible is the data controller. We use three processors:

  • Supabase — database and storage. Supabase operates under a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement.
  • Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.
  • Stripe — payment processing for featured listings. Stripe operates under a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement and handles all payment data. PetPawsible never stores card details.

We do not sell your data or share it with any other third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe — just use the link in any email we send, or contact us at the address below. Tips, votes, and place submissions are kept indefinitely because they are anonymous and form part of the community dataset. Contact enquiries are kept for up to 12 months and deleted once resolved.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, receive a portable copy, and withdraw your consent to email updates at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at shop.reedboat@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
